Our online shop offers a curated range of pre-designed birthday cakes, each one named, photographed, and available to order directly with at least 3 days notice. Sizes, flavours, and some customisation options are available at checkout.
Our custom enquiry path is for when you have a specific vision, a theme, a colour palette, a feeling you want the cake to capture. We'll chat through the details, provide a quote, and bring your idea to life from scratch.
Either way, every cake leaves our studio made by hand, with care.

How to order a birthday cake in Melbourne

  • Choosing a birthday cake style at Bakeology Studios, Melbourne

    CHOOSE THE STYLE

    Browse our shop for pre-designed cakes available to order in 3+ days. For something unique, fill out our custom enquiry form with your idea, date, and guest count. We'll take it from there.

  • WE CONFIRM & CREATE

    For shop orders, we confirm and begin baking. For custom orders, Sithumi will follow up personally to discuss your vision and provide a quote. Once confirmed, your deposit secures the date.

  • PICK UP OR DELIVERY

    Collect your cake from our Burwood East studio at your chosen time

    7 days a week, 7AM–10PM. Or choose delivery across greater Melbourne, free within 10km of the studio. We'll even give you tips for transporting it safely.

    For cakes ordered through our online store, we require a minimum of 3 days notice. For custom birthday cake designs, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and busy celebration periods.

  • Do you deliver birthday cakes across Melbourne?

    Yes, we deliver birthday cakes across greater Melbourne. Delivery is free within 10km of our Burwood East studio (3151 VIC), with fees beyond that calculated by distance at checkout. Pickup from our studio is also available.

  • Can I request a custom cake design?

    Absolutely. Bakeology specialises in custom designed cakes. You can submit an enquiry with your inspiration images, colour palette, theme, and number of servings, and our team will provide a custom quote.

    You can order directly through our online cake store or submit a custom cake enquiry through our website. Once your order is confirmed, your cake will be scheduled for preparation and ready for pickup or delivery on your chosen date.
