Hi, I’m Sithumi — the hands, heart, and imagination behind Bakeology Studios.
Baking found me in the quietest of ways. What began as simple moments in the kitchen slowly turned into something I couldn’t stop thinking about. It became a rhythm I returned to — not out of obligation, but out of love. There was peace in it. A kind of calm I hadn’t found anywhere else.
As a psychology student, I’ve come to realise how powerful small, creative rituals can be. For me, baking is that ritual — one that grounds me, excites me, and gives me space to be present. It’s where I feel most like myself.
Bakeology Studios is an extension of that space. Each cake is thoughtfully handcrafted to carry a mood, a moment, or a memory. Whether it’s playful piping or soft floral palettes, every detail is a quiet celebration of joy and intention.
Based in Melbourne, I find constant inspiration in the people I get to create for. I love dreaming up unique pieces that reflect each person’s story.
